Investigators are working to find out how an airline employee was able to steal an empty Horizon Air turboprop plane from Sea-Tac International Airport and crash it into a small island in the Puget Sound after being chased by military jets that were quickly scrambled to intercept the aircraft.

The bizarre incident involving a worker who authorities said was suicidal points to one of the biggest potential perils for commercial air travel: airline or airport employees causing mayhem.

The guy went out making jokes with air traffic control in his final moments of life.  He must have been a getbigger.

And had no verifiable experience operating a commercial aircraft. These planes are big and require a lengthy start-up process...they're not private Cessnas with one engine and two tiny propellers. He not only left the airport but flew it into an island far from the runway.

That a baggage handler could pull this off in 2018 shows how vulnerable America's airports remain, even if it's the smaller ones.

Anyone who hasn't watched the videos on this and listened to the back and forth with air traffic control is missing out.

Crazy times.

Shizzo, when compared to the useless, mentally-ill gimmicks that have infested this site, was a king.

I'm guessing the guy was married and found out he was about to lose everything to a cheating wife with the help of a court system that is turgid with mysandrists.  If so, she's probably keeping up the standard "I lost my best friend" routine while waiting to find out if his life insurance covers suicide.

Another case of Robin Williams syndrome?  That's where Williams took his own life because the women in it already took everything else.  We'll just have to wait and see.
