My thing is this you take all the drugs away from a pro bber and he’s nothing , you wouldn’t look twice at him in public, pro bbers are dependent on drugs and lots of it

You take drugs away from a pro athlete that plays baseball, football or whatever real sport and he’s still a top specimen and was most likely a high recruit in college and top player in the nation from high school on

Drugs are the real finishing touch for a pro athlete but it isn’t for a pro bber, they rely on grams and tons of different cycles

Take Phil without all the drugs he’s just another 5’9 guy with arms, there’s tons of those guys at local gyms (I’m not talking about Phil when he turned pro or now, talking about how when he was a real natural)

I get your point as well, not starting an argument either, it’s been beat to death haha

This is my two cents

You still need the genes for hypertrophy and asthetics. So they are "top specimens" in regard to what they do.

A person doesn't know if they have great bodybuilding genetics unless they use loads of gear first.

Maybe, maybe not. Obviously proper training is important. But there comes a time when you realize it's splitting hairs.

Love the story of Peary Rader. He was the true hardgainer. When he discovered squats and milk, he put on 100 lbs in one year. Ignorance can come out of the woodwork in many ways.

And Mr. Dinosaur Brooks Kubic. How many issues did he have? Did he change his tune?  ::)

I like most Hammer Strength machines, just not the 2 chest ones at our gym, wreaks  havoc on my rotator's...
I think one is called "wide chest" and the other is like a decline...

All of the hammer strength chest presses start at the bottom of the movement. Dangerous for shoulders and definitely not for someone with shoulder issues.

Possibly, but as to whether or not bodybuilders are athletes: the same standards that apply to natural bodybuilders apply to geared up ones. You don't have to be elite level in any other sport to call yourself an athlete.

So, someone should sacrifice their own health for the benefit of others inspiration?

Yup, great logic.

???

Isn't this what all great people do?

BB is more of a pageant than a sport. The training is a means to the end, like Football players train very hard also, but football is a sport.
BB's train hard, for their pageant, not a sport prancing around in a thong...

There are more genes for top specimens in bbing than real pro athletes like a Michael Phelps or a usain Bolt

Those two guys also have the physiques

It’s just that the majority of the population don’t aspire to inject copious amounts of drugs

They rather aspire to be a Messi or Ronaldo and yet, how many make it

Real sports and athletes more people participate and not many make it

Around 1600 pro players in the NFL today

Also, he has to train moderate to save his energy for Mrs Heath... (Fortress will love this quote  ;D)

Dollars to doughnuts she has multiple orgasms just from licking his hcg laden balls.

With a training partner that pulls that helps pull the handles out. I don't start at the bottom position unless my training partner isn't there then I just switch exercises.

As far as tears, shit happens and there's usually a reason for it be it from bad training habits or being physiological

Does the starting position of hammer strengths put unnatural stress on the body?
