Got that right. What’d it achieve? He sullied the memory of what he once was by walking onto a stage looking like whittled crap. Placed nowhere in a watered-down, Mr. Nothing pageant. Further taxed his body to embarrass himself.
Real genius.
Getting “into shape” has ZERO to do with prancing oiled up in a thong.
Old Flex only has any self-worth wrapped in his faded years as a glory bodybuilding pro.
Now he’s a (rudderless) vessel of failing organs and lameness.
If he put more of that energy and effort towards “going back to school”, instead of letting life school him, I’d say that would have been worth more than the fleeting attention that he got last year.
The more I see some of these 90s guys, the more I see that they only had one thing going, and didn’t take care of their minds (or finances) so that they have something to fall back on, when they retire. They can’t let it go, because that is all that they have.
