Yes....1989 and IMO way more impressive than our new Mr. Olympia Shawn Rhoden. Rhoden looks good, but seriously guys....look at Pearsons condition and size in this video. His back is fucking nuts. How is it that Pearsons condition in 89 was the norm and now the O winners have no graininess. Just smooth and lean. Sad.

Seems like a lot of guys from that era had trouble building big quads. But nowadays seems like everyone is waddling around with huge quads. Seems like the quads and delts are the muscle groups that have gotten insanely huge compared to the old days.

Oil will work in the delts but not in a large muscle group like the quads.

Any guy who placed in the top 15 up until the early 2000's would place higher than Rhoden did this year.
