It's a measure of power. Power is more important than strength in real athletics even though they are related to a degree.  Show me a high vertical leap and I will show you someone that has sprinting speed. So many big bench guys when they hit the heavy bag hit it soft like a girl. One would think they would smash it but many big bench guys are lacking in power. They can't release their strength quickly. Jumping, sprinting, punching, tackling, kicking, hitting with an object like a bat, racket or golf driver is a display of power. Same thing that Olympic lifting should be called power lifting and Power lifting should be called strength lifting.

That you are able to know what's in another person's heart and have the audacity to say they "think" they care and therefore have no life of their own. You don't know what anybody thinks. I have a life and I cared when Ronald Reagan died. I was a huge fan of Charles Krauthammer and cared that he died. My brother has a life and cared so deeply when complete strangers got murdered on 9/11 that he joined the military and has devoted his life to defending this country -- three tours now in Iraq.
