We get it, he's a hero to black people who were scared to fight fire with fire (like Malcolm X's Black Muslims) and moved the racial conversation out of the cafes of liberal NYC and into the streets, good for him. His later campaign against poverty in the inner cities through the mid-late 1960s did not do as well. But he doesn't deserve a national holiday, I'm sorry. Only former Presidents and historical geniuses should have that honor.
