why do these popular guys try to make this shift into fighting - to be half effective/efficient you have to lose any extra weight you carry on your frame - throwing punches and bouncing around on your toes is counter productive AF for some dude who is 25lbs overweight and has shit levels of cardio conditioning
Do they get bored in the weight room ? is it some sponsor telling them to get more views ? If you make money based on your how you look and your level of fitness - why the hell would you trade that in to get punched in the face ?
maybe its these kids obsession with fightings - like the Jake Paul stuff - I see it in gyms now to, back in the day you were a hardass if you carried a little extra size - now all it takes is going to the heavy bag in the corner and just wailing away at it
