That was always one thing that slightly annoyed me about the movies. Comic Wolverine is inherently short while Jackman is taller than average and they never bothered to try to disguise it.

Also, another thing that annoyed me is the agenda of putting UK/commonwealth actors in american superhero roles. It's so obvious at this point.

It seems most new actors are from the U.K.  Americans have become very lazy and expect success immediately without putting in the time practicing their craft on stage and smaller acting gigs.  It's the "everyone's a winner" trophy generation.

This is nonsense. What are you even basing this on? The mass exodus of young American actors from the industry.British actors aren't any more hardworking than americans and a lot of these uk assholes taking american acting jobs aren't new.

I am sure the comic-afficionados thought "BLASPHEMY!" at first when seeing Hugh Jackman in the role in "X-Men 1" (as he wasn't as short or hairy as the character), but eventually everyone, even the creators of the character as well as the most hardcore comic-fans warmed up to Jackman being Wolverine.

Seen different actors and talent agents interviewed on YouTube about this very subject.  UK actors aren't "taking" jobs, they're earning them.

Yeah, I'm sure it's just a coincidence that when brit Nolan headed up the Batman franchise, nearly every major character was played by an actor from the uk. Agenda. You're either a brit or conditioned.

I'm American but there's no arguing about UK talent when it comes to actors.  For such a small country they are loaded.

Would sooner read an intricately detailed 1000 page diary written by Elton John describing the manner in which he sucked off every dirty aids infested fag he ever met than read one line of that shit

I want to think it’s cool he’s at least got a hobby but nah this ain’t freaking cool. Just weird seeing anyone past 10 liking comic books or wrestling.
