Prison officers and officials couldn’t BE more accountable. Hung to dry at every available opportunity.

As far as preventing shit from going off, well, it’s impossible. Unless society is fine with denying inmates almost all human rights and privileges, the holes and opportunities are as plentiful as blades of grass in a park.

It’s a losing battle.

I'm surprised there aren't more lawsuits by family members from prison deaths and victims of other crimes in prison.  Maybe there are but they keep a lid on them.
