So this feels totally weird because I’ve known Danny Hester in the industry for close to the 20 years I’ve been in the USA. Always a cool laid back dude.

But a couple years ago we had started chatting on Facebook messenger and catching up on old times. Now I know his page is real .....since he converses with other Golds gym peeps on it and gives constant updates on his first posing, etc.

But things took a weird turn when he started to attack me for my conservative political views on messenger? Just not the Danny I know? Then he started some sexual talk.  It was all too frigging weird for me!! Before long an IFBB judge told me that his social media is actually run by an older “sugar daddy shmoe” by the name of George Ferrick. He’s also on Facebook.

Now THAT started to make more sense to me!  BUT the question is simply this.... why in this day and age of social media buzz would you give over total control of your FB page to someone who flaunts their own personal political and sexual agenda???

Was there a time you know for a fact it was Danny or has it always been the schmoe? I would be more surprised if you were talking to the real Danny and then he left it without a long period of inactivity or at least said something.

I've met Danny a couple of times when I judged the Venice Beach contests this past summer and seems like a cool guy. Seems uncharacteristic of him to do something like this considering his pro-military guest postings. Maybe I'm wrong.

That is very strange for Danny ... a person who runs a social media account should be impartial and not let their views get into it.

Now, there are quite a few instagrams and other social media accounts run by people - I personally know a few people that go to various competitors, and tell them they will help them bring up their likes, their social numbers up, and these guys or girls do this for them.  You won't know about it, but they do, special posts every day, pushing their likes up, etc.  It happens all the time, from our industry to entertainment to companies.  Especially if the person makes money off their persona.  One person I heard from was running about 20 competitors Instagram sites, building them up for them... in exchange for a fee.
