Yes. The person could have all those qualities, be a good person and still be mentally ill. Religious beliefs and convictions are psychologically embedded, usually through fear of/from something (parental discipline, traumatic experience, dying, going to hell, etc). I've met many so-called Christians (believe they are saved) during my life. As they age they tend to stray away from, even abandon their beliefs as time goes by. Gee, I wonder why?
I never said that a person could have all those qualities, be a good person and still NOT be mentally ill. Believing they are mentally ill simply because they believe the Bible is another story though.
It would be like me saying that a person is mentally ill simply for believing that intelligent life from another galaxy seeded the earth billions of years ago.
The rest of your post is full of blanket statements and generalizations. Just because that's your personal experience with people who believe the Bible, it does not follow that it's the same with most or all people who believe the Bible.
