The Raiders have an office here in Las Vegas with a display case of SuperBowl rings which look pretty damn impressive if you are into jewery on your fingers or a small part of Superbowl history.

I believe that the NFL has a budget of $50,000 that can be spent on each ring, but each winning team can add any amount to that budget if they wish to do so.

I also believe (but I ain''t sure) that each individual ring is crafted for  each individual team member  .... and that less expensive Superbowl rings are 'awarded' to the employees working for that winning team that season.

I have heard that approximately 150 Superbowl rings are made each year a nd that GetBiggers  can possibly purchased a 'used' Superbowl ring on the net or in one of the pestigious hock shops such as the hock shop here in Vegas.

The ring's value is based on whom it was initially awarded to.

Estimated Superbowl ring value ... My wild guess would be ...$50,000 to $250,000+ (US).

NBA is a lot easier for the same team to get rings

In the NFL, a team with the same player getting 6 and being in 9 sb appearances will never be duplicated, a much tougher sport

Exactly and with the  salary cap and only had one hof receiver. It's been a revolving door.

Haha maybe not to the “nfl” standards of athletes but Brady was definitely really athletic in baseball and golf, in which he prob could have gone pro in baseball

He also works really hard on footwork which has improved even in his 40's.

They have players from all over the world on the rosters, hence world champions.

American football will remain a USA thing. It's not taken serious anywhere else
And like many others, it's a made-up sport.

Those massive rings look stupid, IMO.
