Pics!?

I had a 2006 Saleen Extreme 6 speed coupe - this car was in the 600 HP +  and 600s torque.  the saleen extreme was the rarest and most powerful mustang car at the time. i had #36 of 100.  i could outrun pretty much anything in this car. the sound was out of this world. you felt like a bully in a car.. so loud, the 20 inch wheels, the bodykit - the saleen sticker.

then I picked up a 2012 Mustang GT 5.0 6 speed Coyote - same color (dark red coupe) this car was a machine. driven across country on some epic roads

and my last mustang as a stage 2 roush 6 speed convertible. fun factor 10/10 and my opinion the best looking modern mustang EVER - no mustang is as sharp as a roush

In my experiance anything Chrysler is just junk most definitely the poorest build quality of any domestic manufacturer. This charger post goes fast is a straight line....amazing

I have a Jeep Patriot (which under the Chrysler brand) and I love it

it is a 5 speed manual Jeep Patriot, with crank windows, no power locks, pretty much as simple as a car and never gets old since it so simple/ it is my daily driver and it is detailed, maintained like I would my old Jaguar XKR - always take pride in your possessions no matter what you own.  i have this car as long as i can. similar how to see 10, 15 year toyota trucks on the road.

I love the fact this Jeep is in a 5 speed, simple color, 4 cyl engine. you blend in and have zero hassles/low cost = the point of a daily driver.  i save my car money for fun cars/sports cars. i don't see the point of a semi expensive daily driver.  my 2 cents.... have a true "A to B car" and then have a" baby"  8) :-*

thank you! loved that car  8)

watch these 2 quick 1 minute youtube videos

from .59 onward... the sound was punishing..

^^^ this what they sound like - again... the car sounded like a helicopter at full throttle. it was around 94 decibels loud -

10 second quarter mile club - the mid 2000s saleens were fucking brutal.

for the muscle car folks - Saleen or roush stangs some have 750 HP + but are never in the magazines, news, TV or much pop culture press since they are not factory/nor stock. they are a tuner car.

id take a saleen or roush over a Cobra or GT500 anyday - way more boy racer, rare, unique and simply look better.

I’ll be buying a 1969 Boss 429 here in the next few years. Maybe one of the Dodges will be worth something in 50 years too.

You could always tell a Mustang’s sound during the 4.6 days. That guy was banging those gears quick in the 2nd vid. I remember having an X-pipe and cut-outs right before the flowmaster 2 chambers. It was loud as hell when uncapped but the back-pressure sounded like shit. It’s amazing how common fast cars are nowadays compared to the late 90’s-early 2000’s. My last car was a stock ‘15 vette and I was constantly doing 3.9 0-60 and running 11.9 in the 1/4. I really need to get something fast yet practical. I’m thinking about a used M5 with low miles.

I just watched a Jay Leno video with him driving a 429. Sick car with a very fast 1/4 mile for its time.

Back in the early 1980's a friend of a friend was selling an immaculate 7000 mile 1970 Boss 429 for $7000.
