Ever workout drunk or high??

Any of you getbig monkeys ever workout drunk or high as f*ck?? If so,, what did you notice different??

High quite a few times.Focus was extreme as was the pump.Usually end up working out longer and not even thinking about it.

Drunk just some bench pressing at parties when in teens and early twenties.

A friend of my brother asked if that would be good, as he felt more energized...I was like - yeah, maybe that's possible. But I couldn't medically condone it.

Another friend suggested combining pre-workout with Percocet...he currently needs a heart transplant. Not solely for doing that - it was the result of years of steroid, drug, and alcohol addiction.

Weight training already poses some risk to the heart - I think heavy lifting combined with holding your breath is bad for the heart for some reason. A friend who is a sports physician explained it to me. Being drunk or high probably makes that worse.

Not that bodybuilding is really a healthy endeavour anyway.

I could see an upside - but one that likely comes with a cost.

Was benching by myself at Home 2 years ago, high as fuuk, got sloppy & got pinned, long story short dislocated my shoulder, lesson learned...

Ive done both
middle of the day boozy brunch then popped over to the gym and trained - didnt train hard but i had a few bloody marys and several pancakes in my system and the pump was intense

i do recommend bbers to train on edibles if you are experienced with them.  fast for a good for 12-20 hours - then edibles on an empty stomach - the high is more much intense. then eat a salty meal and go train - dont train heavy but focus on the pump and hit the contemporary poses

you will want to take an uber the gym since

hot yoga and edibles is an amazing experience too.

I've been "drunk still" upon waking up from the night before and going to the gym because I didnt want to miss my workout.
Not fun, not condoned.

High?? Not really. But a vape pen hit (buzz) if feeling shitty on a SUN AM, if partied the night before.
Kills the headache and makes the workout OK. Again, not recommended.

Once in college I had a workout partner that we always trained at 5:30 in the morning, and it was a commitment I didn’t break. Anyways, one morning he picked me up after a night out and in bed at 2:30 and we did biceps, and I came home and crashed and woke up at like 10. Didn’t even remember the workout. Stupid thing to do, but 19 year olds make a lot of dumb decisions.  :-\

Might have smoked before a few times, but never left an impression like the time I was drunk.

Worked out at 9am still feeling the effects of 3 hits of ecstasy from the night before. I left this girl's house that I hooked up with and still felt wide awake. Had no appetite but I choked down a quick protein bar and strolled into Kevin Levrone's gym. Kevin was at the front desk going over gym bills when I walked in. He shot me a look and busted out laughing because I'm wearing my club clothes from the night before. I laughed back, shrugged my shoulders and carried on. Ended up NOT being the best workout I ever had. This was like 20 years ago.

I did once in 1987 at Attilis Gym in Wildwood, NJ while my friends and I were away for a weekend of partying. It's a great gym that's open 24 hours and after getting fucked up, one of us assholes suggested that we should check out the gym. Probably paid a few bucks to work out for the day/night and it was useless. Why anyone would get fucked up to work out is beyond me. At least I had the excuse of being a 20-year-old kid.

Nothing wrong with a little weed before a heavy lifting session. You can get some intense workouts and better pumps. But you have to have a tolerance to start with before you do something like that.

1.Matt are you a medical doctor?


2.It's crazy to think that limited short bursts of activity end up being bad for you.  Even if you work out two hours a day you're not lifting maximum weight that whole time. It may only be 15 minutes a day (maximal lifts).
