Boxer Dadashev dies from Friday fight injuries

Buddy stopped the fight but it was too late.

This video of Buddy McGirt urging Maxim Dadashev to stop fighting was hard to watch Friday, it’s even harder now. Heart-breaking.

I have felt like death in training sometimes...but in reality, nothing close. How do fighters do this?

Dadashev didn`t want to quit but Buddy McGirt made him stop.

Brain swelling or something? Did he drop after he left the ring? He looked nothing more than a little “out of it” once the fight was called. Shit sucks for his family and possibly the mental health of the other boxer.

When the brain starts swelling a boxer could look a little out of it then into a coma. I fought the same night as a little fighter. I don't remember the weight class but he was a short very light guy. He got beat up bad and latter complained of a bad head ache. He went into a coma that night. He lived but was never the same. A lot of rehab but the brain damage was done.

He was taking such a beating to the body.

And yet his problem was brain bleed?

He took some hard lefts to the head, but nothing compared to what he took to the body... from both hands.

If anything, I would've thought internal hemorrhaging from like liver or spleen.
