The Effect of Iphones on Entertainment

The host of the Mindpump podcast said that he went to a Jack White concert and everyone had to put their iPhones in bags which were then locked and only opened after the show.

I would never consent to this.

Or else everyone would have their arm in the air recording the concert?

Louie Ck and a few comedians do that now too, because of fear of bootlegging new material, etc.... The clubs are hesitant to push it, but I can see it becoming a thing. I hate having to check anything, so this is a big  :-\ to me.

I went to a show at a place called Terminal 5 in NYC. They frisked everyone upon entering because they also have hip hop shows there and don’t want to seem racist. I haven’t been back there since.

That lame elitist doesn't even own a cellphone. I bet his assistant does.
I can understand comedians using them, if they have new material, but those Yondr bags are just silly.
