It's now becoming a contending issue around the world: The perennial shit-holes of humanity are STILL overpopulated (MAIN issue). In now come the Western governments and their abrupt new stance to let an insane amount of uneducated backward folks enter their countries and provide them with all kinds of help at the expense of the locals. As retarded as this may sound, there are multiple countries in Europe, at this very moment, with serious pension funding issues. Some countries have lost 5% of their population in less than 10 years due to emigration and yet, the size of the government (as measured in government employees) has gone up 5-10%.
To make a long story short: Have Western governments become so corrupt that, even though they have to service an aging and smaller population, the politicians in those governments refuse to reduce the size of the governments? Which is the reason for their abrupt change of heart in terms of the immigration problem (being presented as a solution).
This has huge implications on everything but most of all on the concept of citizenship. If a citizen is anyone that happens to be at point X in time Y, then the value of a citizenship, as a status, is gone down the drain.
Am I the only one that can smell the political bullshit in all of this?
