I hate war. It examples how uncivilized humans continue to be. This being said, I am not qualified to know which conflicts the U.S. should get or stay involved in. Sadly, I predict wars will continue to happen.

This seems more like a reply to my post because I mentioned war. Occupation, conflict or war are close cousins.

Previous Commanders in Chief seek advice before taking action. Trump says he "talked to everyone". Although I find this difficult to believe, if he did talk to everyone, there's little chance he listened to them.

Thanksgiving is coming and that could put a hurting on them.

We do give them around $150 million in humanitarian aid or so each year.

We have an airbase there (Incirlik) so we must pump a lot of $$ into that.  Tactical nukes are stored there.

Turkey has sometimes retaliated by preventing our use of the base (which we built).

I disagree with Trump on this one.
It seems to be the cool thing nowadays to refer to people as warmongers/globalists if they don't believe that we should be pulling our troops out from everywhere. Similar to the left calling people racists.

There are valid reasons to want/need troops in various places throughout the world.

He has been very good in international affairs but I think his council is not so good recently in regards to this.

That's weird.  I think I talked to the same guys in addition to 4th guy who was from Lebanon.  The guy from Lebanon agreed with the pull out.  Small world.
