Hey Prime, would U bonk that old bag Pelosi  ;D

A better question would be would she 'bonk" me. Honestly, at this stage of the game, I'm not looking for sex, romance, or even companionship. Friends, family, my puppy Lucy and spending far too much time conversing with all you numbnuts enlightening folks on Getbig more than fills my day. Actually, now that you mention it, if things were different....no, I would not bonk her. She is a scary looking woman who wears a very supportive bra.  ;D

What she said is right. It is not impeachment resolution. It was a vote on a resolution to formalize the process for an impeachment inquiry. Mainly because Trump and his administration is doing everything it can to obstruct the inquiry for the reasons outlined here: “We are taking this step to eliminate any doubt as to whether the Trump Administration may withhold documents, prevent witness testimony, disregard duly authorized subpoenas, or continue obstructing the House of Representatives,” Pelosi said in a letter to Democrats early Monday.

In other words, more "gotcha" tactics for the press to make something of. It's not something to be proud of.

Ok, so based on that same logic, Bill Clinton should never have been impeached, right?
I think he was guilty of lying under oath and deserved to be impeached regardless of the final senate verdict.
I assume you'd agree ?

Most of the Republicans that were involved in Clintons impeachment now believe it was a mistake.

As I said in the first post, it’s a dog and pony show. From my understanding, even if it goes to the Senate, McConnell doesn’t have to take it up. If they do, which they won’t, where are you going to get 20 Republican senators to vote for impeachment when not a single Republican Congress person voted for it?

You're  understanding is wrong, the senate is REQUIRED to take it up IF the house sends over article of impeachment.

However, you are correct that getting 20 senate republicans to vote to remove Trump is a long shot, right now.

Then again, Trump becoming President was a long shot... ;)

Okay, he can slow roll it. From your link.

"I would have no choice but to take it up," McConnell said on CNBC. But he cautioned, "How long you're on it is a whole different matter."
