Doesn't matter how much money you got you still just turn into an old senile codger.

exactly the 6 or 700 million he spent on this folly is a drop in a bucket for him. he's 78  and you can't take it with you. he wanted to cement his legacy by putting POTUS on his resume.

The last couple of elections have debunked the liberal myth that billionaires can buy the presidency.  Even though Trump won the presidency he spent far less than Hillary Clinton.  Tom Steyer and Bloomberg got nowhere even after spending huge amounts of cash.  Money helps but you have to have a message and the personality to pull off a win.  Just because Trump won lots of billionaires think they can win when they don't have near the drive or skill Trump has to win.

Trump does not even own the suit on his back if you look at his debt to equity ratio.

MSNBC and their experts say the following:

1. Bloomberg spent $500 million on ads. There are 327 million Americans.

2. Therefore, with just $327 million of the $500 million, Bloomberg could have given every American $1,000,000 instead.

3. $1,000,000 X 327,000,000 = $327,000,000  NOT $327,000,000,000,000(327 Trillion dollars)

Billionaires can't buy leadership since that requires skill/charisma/likeability...etc, but they can still buy out the politicans who have these gifts. Bloomberg and Steyer will now throw their huge wealth behind Biden and if he wins presidency, it'll be them pulling the strings. Money doesn't guarantee victory in politics, but you're not going to make many gains without the large funds behind you.

Of course money is involved but Trump spent much less than Hillary and won.

Policy notwithstanding, Trump is a supreme politician.  Watching him shred his political opponents on the left and right is pretty satisfying.

Hilarious.

$1,000,000 x 327,000,000 = $327,000,000,000,000 = $327 trillion

A trillion here, a trillion there, pretty soon you're talking real money.

https://www.kiplinger.com/slideshow/investing/T006-S001-millionaires-in-america-2019-all-50-states-ranked/index.html

Millionaires in USA (2019) = 7,698,765 x $1,000,000 = $7,698,765,000,000

Of course it's many times this because some of the above are Getbiggers who are multi-millionaires.

No wonder they're so generous with our money.

Here's Trump trolling Warren and Bloomberg while praising himself.
