I doubt he dislikes his father's legacy, so much as he dislikes the fact that it effectively tricks people who never knew him into thinking (and informing him) that he was a great man.
Don't misunderstand the signals. Clearly what his father did, bodybuilding wise was to be proud of (and for his son to follow). Maybe he was a fucking awful father, too - though - and maybe the son doesn't want to hear the legions of people who just assume he was a good fella.
i hear you I think most people over 40 or so have heard he was abusive etc and from most his peers have openly said he was consistently difficult too deal with, gave promoters hell was rude, aggressive and arrogant too boot all that has been out there for decades as well as his wife’s shooting of him.
The thing is with Jr is (from what’s been put out there) for someone that’s actually said in print he wants too be nothing like his father...well he’s decided too be a bodybuilder (like his father) and put himself under the microscope being a bodybuilder and from what we have seen or read he’s definitely got the arrogance down pat (just like his father) he’s always complaining (just like his father) and melting down all over social media (@ the slightest mention of his father being mentioned)
I get the family history he feels he has too broadcast but I wonder if he ever considers the world is full of familys that have all that abusive shit happened it’s like he has too remind everybody that his father was abusive this that and the next thing every chance he gets and in a way doing so too somehow discredit him bye whatever achievements the old man has done
He must be 34-35 years old now you’d think he’d let it go...he’s DEAD...he’s done.. whatever debt he had it’s paid in full, jr has a very good physique but he will never go down in bodybuilding history like the old man the only reason he’s gotten too the level he’s currently @ in large imo is his surname there’s interest in him only because of it he will never get out from seniors shadow so I guess he will have the rest of his life too keep making up excuses and continue too kick a dead horse again and again (as a form of safety net) when he never wins 1 Olympia.
