LOL...I'm reminded of your profile picture!

The name Hollingshead is somewhat similar to the name Butthead.  In that, have you ever wondered if it's pronounced Boo-Thead?  LOL.

Holling-shead.
Boo-thead.

Or, conversely, could Hollingshead be pronounced Hollings-Head?  ;D

He did a 800 lb deadlift the other day as well. Luke was a bit "on his case" saying "we dont need to be lifting like that these days".
Too much to lose.

No safety's set either...  OK he's got a good spotter but still...

Maybe for some people the psychology is that with nothing to catch them, they must pull that last rep from the bag...

Luke is right... despite having the strength to do that heavy of a dead lift.

He has to remember he is a bodybuilder, not a power lifter

So yeah take it easy as neither of them wants an injury

But at the same time I love watching these strength feats from these two guys

at his stage in his career, he isnt getting any bigger, not through huge poundages, the risk reward ratio is way too high.

Does he really believe 20 reps with 400 is going to result in less gains than 6 reps with 600.

Good point - I like to Lift / Train Heavy always have a come from a Powerlifting Background
Though there is a Limit to Going heavy just for the sake of it.
The weights are just a tool - Use The Most appropriate Tools you can.

When you train heavy you always set the safety's if you're using a cage/rack/frame though, right?

(And even safety's can't help tools like this  ;D)

Don’t buy / use cheap olympic bars that can’t handle heavy weight.
