Wilder v Fury 2- whose your pick?
« on: February 03, 2020, 04:56:52 PM »
I hope Wilder KO's fury but the freaky Fury is going to cruise to a boring unanimous decision by jabbing, boxing and moving :(

he'll be a lot sharper than their 1st fight when he was coming off that long lay off

WIlder wont be able to land big cleanly :(

fury for a huge guy has great defensive skills and footwork

Fury is going to be completely defensive throwing jabs and hugging Wilder. It will be a boring fight with Fury winning on points.

When is the last time Wilder won a round where he didn't knock his opponent down?  It's been years.  Based on this, I say Fury on points.

In the amateurs?  ;D

Wilder has that dynamite right, but he seems beyond improving as a boxer.  I think he needs some
skills to have more than a puncher's chance.  Going with the gypsy and hoping it's more exciting than
the first.

An excellent boxer vs puncher match up IMO.

Wilder can end a fight with one punch, but one trick ponies can suffer in re-matches.

Fury is a problem because he's big and can take one of those punches, mobile, good brain(for a boxer) and just better boxing fundamentals.

Not sure if all that is enough though. Wilder could hit him once and end it...or Fury could frustrate him and gas him out.

So much more interesting than a Mayweather fight... in any case. I'd take Fury because a rematch favors the smarter fighter.

Fury - IF his Brains in Gear & He's fitter & quicker than the 1st Fight.
No denying Wilder has that big punch though.

Love Teddy Atlas and his take on the towel going in for Wilder.
