I have a physical disability. I get mocked here from time to time and guess what? It doesn't hurt. Why? Because I was raised by loving parents and siblings. More to the point, I sometimes get mocked in the real world.
I think I have said this before but when someone axes me "Why are you parking in the disabled parking spot?!" I tell them, I'm a registered DemocRat.
I've had high school kids ax me why I walk as I do and then I show them my leg and knock on the brace. They think it's a prosthetic and ax if they can borrow it, all while laughing...I tell them sure, if I can pull their fucking leg off and stick this on in it's place.
And then I laugh and tell them not to take chances with someone they really don't know and then I introduce myself so that now they know that someone. I've had my own relatives belittle me not only for my Conservatism but also my looks and my handicaps. Yeah...I'm not smart and I walk stupid, LOL!
The point is, thin skin is useless. People are people and will laugh at that which they want to laugh at for their own reasons. I don't give a fuck. Most people today look to be offended. And more of them want to be offended. Lazy fuckwads... Fuck 'em, regardless of skin colour or gender or whateverthefuck their ism is.
I have a bit of a mental disability but that hasn't stopped me from doing stuff. There are people far worse off. Like the Isimites.
