Very odd that Vince would allow one of his athletes/performers to sign with a company who’s owner is under  indictment- does the WWE know? Perhaps someone needs to send this information to the WWE’s corporate offices.

True, but McMahon is known to be CRAZY when it comes to anyone in his company doing anything which could be remotely associated with performance enhancement or having anyone in his employ who deals with questionable companies. I’d bet he’d put an end to it quickly - picture a kid who looks up to this guy and they buy something and get sick - he’d personally punch Sleezerman in the face - one of his former staff already brought pj to his knees.

   VKM NEVER lets anyone do an outside deal without his approval. EVER.

The last employee who had a large endorsement deal outside of the WWE umbrella was the Macho Man with slim Jim. And when he left the WWE for WCW he took that deal with him.

I think the only other example is Brock kept his Jimmy Johns deal from the UFC.

This is either approved by Vince or it will be squashed.

Ok, I think I mentioned this a few years ago.  Wrestlers are independent contractors, not actual employees of the WWE.  Other than not performing at any other wrestling venue, they are free to do what they want.  They dont get paid per hour or get a salary....they sign contracts.

I had heard about that commercial when it came out, but I'm not sure if it was released in Canada.  Either way, I didn't see it until just now.  The discussion in this thread reminded me of it, and I ran a YouTube search, and - there it was.
