Mr Obama was/is a political opportunist, which was proved even more after becoming president. As with any opportunist, he played the voting crowd quite well, telling then what their ears wanted to here. Of course he's not the first, nor will he be the last from either or any political party. Perhaps black voters suffered the most with his 8 years in office. (the "did" has been updated to "didn't")
