The USADA testing took down Cro-Cop, Belfort, Overeem and others, but whether they fought clean or not, Fedor in his prime would beat Stipe badly.

And Feder wasn't juiced. Just a stoic, grim, Russian warrior.

I remember Randy Couture commenting on Feder's unemotional, stoic, almost detached demeanor; saying that when you look just at Fedor's facial expression (or lack thereof) as he walks towards the cage you couldn't tell if he was going to the biggest fight of his life or going to get a haircut (which is even more funny since Fedor was bald).

It just goes to show that you don't have to be a loud mouth or act like a clown to be popular, fill the seats, and have a loyal following. Just win.

Fedor was likely on juice in Pride. It was encouraged by promotors of the competition even, as said in interviews of people involved after.

The only belt Michael Stipe needs is a bondage belt for his fetish sex funnel mouth gag.

Very true.  Kind of like how Georges St-Pierre was the biggest pay-per-view star in his day, despite his fights being called boring by many people.  I never personally found GSP's fights boring, but it was common to hear people say that, yet he still sold more pay-per-views than any other UFC athlete.

GSP never sold more PPV than Connor McGregor.

Come on Matt, all that time spent not watching porn is rotting your brain.

Fedor is surprisingly witty... One interviewer told him that a guy wanted to fight him and Fedor replied "why does everyone want to fight me? No one wants to just have dinner and some good conversation?"   All delivered with a straight face...

I love that Fedor could joke around together with the americans such as Chael Sonnen and Meathead.

This clip is hilarious!

When Chael Sonnen flirts with a reporter, Fedor plays along

If you put Overeem on the same gear as Mir, the Reem would beat Frankie like your daddy beat your momma.
