I tried to watch some of the games yesterday.  Just wanting a dumb distraction yet the game didn't give that. I have to give credit that they didn't push much of the BLM shit during the games, unlike Thursday but I didn't watch the pregame shit where I'm sure they did.  But watching football in an empty stadium was depressing.  It was a constant reminder of how this Corona has fucked everything up.  I ended up having shitty anxiety watching football so that distraction just wasn't there.

Really? LOL. Sorry to hear that. I myself have no problem with the crowd less games. The reason is because I like hearing basically every sound coming from the field. You can hear all the player chatting and the hits sounded harder. But I also just really like football and will do my best to ignore the politics and BLM shit.

I think for me it was depressing because I played and coached a while so it was just strange seeing football at this level without the excitement.  FOX tried to pump in fake noise and I found that distracting.  It was too loud and you couldn't hear the refs or the comentators and the noise didn't match what was happening on the field which made it confusing.  NBC left the fake noise out and it was a sad game.  A big play would happen and there was no excitement.  There needs to be some middle ground.  I read a lot of teams committed to no fans all year while others will reevaluate after Sept ends while others like teams in Florida and Texas will just let in a certain %.  So again, no consistency.

My goal for this season is to not see one play, not even a highlight. And to not know who’s playing in the Super Bowl. Didn’t know the season started on Thursday so I’m off to a good start.

When these millionaire players wear the slogan “equality” it makes me laugh. Okay then should we pay you $9 an hour like other blacks that work at McDonald’s to play a sports game for a living? Would that make you feel more equal?

I wonder if they feel oppressed when they drive their lambos to their multi million dollar homes after a game.
