I was considering Powerblocks or Ironmaster. Powerblocks are insanely fast to change weight. Ironmaster you could drop them and Powerblocks say they can be damaged by dropping. I never drop dumbbells so it's a mute point for me. Powerblocks are accurate in weight especially the US made elite model. Ironmaster are off weight being made in China I believe. In the end if your 75lbs dumbbells really weighs 74lbs and 75lbs is that a deal breaker? I do know the majority love to drop dumbbells.

In the end I got ordinary spin lock dumbbell bars. I can make up to 75lbs dumbbells quickly with the plates stacked on a waist high table I made out of an old jubinville leg extension machine. For weights over 75 I bought ordinary hex dumbbells and a nice rack. I rarely use dumbbells over 90lbs at this stage of the game. My 100lbs hex dumbbells collect dust. I always use a full range of motion and  that limits the weight I can use anyway. Maybe if I did half reps that is the usual now in the gym for chest and shoulder presses I would need heavier dumbbells. On a side note this covid made almost every home equipment manufacture have a sold out sign on their web site.

Some businesses made out during the shutdown.  I feel sorry for the UPS men who have to deliver all that. ;D

I might go with the Iron Masters dumbbells.

If they are sold out, I might just spring for a variety of dumbbells.
