McBride is now among five transgender state legislators, according to the Washington Blade. The others are Danica Roem, a member of the Virginia House of Delegates; New Hampshire state Reps. Lisa Bunker and Gerri Cannon; and Colorado state Rep. Brianna Titone, all Democrats.
