I like how just after the 5:45 mark, Ronnie answers the steroid question by saying he will "fool a lot of people", LOL.

He was answering honestly.  :)

What I notice about Ronnie is that he has a similar vibe to Mike Tyson.  It actually makes me feel bad for both of them.  Beyond the massive/tough guy exteriors, they were probably super nice guys.  It's sad, given the extent to which Mike Tyson was taken advantage of.  While Ronnie Coleman never made in the triple digit millions in his life, I have no doubt he was somewhere in the double digit millions, and Ronnie too, probably spent a lot of money supporting ungrateful people.  It's just sort of depressing when that happens to someone.

That interviewer did a fantastic job, as did Ronnie - what's with the title?  Ronnie makes it sound like this interview is embarrassing, but I think he did a great job.

This is a great interview.  No wonder Ronnie is so happy with how his life went.  He has amazing memories from bodybuilding - which was ultimately very good to him.

At the 12:25 mark, Ronnie answers the question about people [criminals] trying to mess with him as a police officer, and he said that luckily he hadn't experienced that.

LOL...but it wasn't luck.  As he later answered in an interview "Funny...it didn't come up."

Obviously crooks would only need one good look at Ronnie to know not to mess with him.

Interesting that he lists his height at 5'10 and 3/4".  That makes sense.  He's probably lost an inch since then.

Mike Tyson was probably around 5'10 and 1/4" in his prime.  Ronnie said he was 245-lb in that clip, whereas Tyson's max weight was, what, maybe 217- to 219-lb?

So, probably around 25- to 30-lb heavier, and obviously a disparity in conditioning.  They were also a similar age - with Ronnie being only two years older than Tyson.

I wonder if they ever met in their primes.  That would have been a good photo-op!

I decided to subscribe to Ronnie's channel after watching that.  I stopped watching his Instagram videos because I didn't want to see him continue to destroy his body.  But if he is putting out content like this on his YouTube channel, I'll watch it.

It's interesting how Ronnies body just seemed to "give up" after a certain age. Just tore muscle after muscle and his back detoriated etc.

I guess he beat on his body and trained harder than any other.

Dorian Yates started to experience the same thing with his body at an even earlier age. If he continued like Ronnie he might have been looking as bad as Ronnie now but Dorian was smarter about it.

Steroids strengthen muscles faster than connective tissues can keep up with so it's no surprise that lifters suffer torn muscle attachments.

Yep - exactly.  Drug-free trainees don't have the same risk of tearing muscles because everything is increasing in strength in a more harmonious/linear fashion.  Whereas training on steroids causes the muscles to get very strong very fast, but for the connective tissue and ligaments to be at risk of injury due to not being able to keep up with the rate of growth that the muscle tissue is at.
