Thanks for the link. It makes sense to have a non-fasting triglycerides test since most people eat through the day and evening so their levels are bound to be higher most of the time. My primary care physician orders these tests once a year, usually in August in conjunction with my annual wellness exam. I ask him about doing a non fasting test next year. I suppose it's possible he'll want to see both fasting and non fasting for comparison.
