Chris Dickerson is the oldest Mr. Olympia ever.
Because he was gay and didn’t have a woman kill him prematurely

I have noticed that, among Hollywood types for example, some of the gay dudes live long lives, while the guys who have been in and out of five or six marriages leave us earlier. With that many divorces, it means that the experience was not very satisfying at the time.

Yep, even periodic fasts seem to extend life.  People can also cut their meat consumption to say once or twice a week and probably see the same benefits non meat eaters get.  It would probably help Vegans and vegetarians to periodically eat meat as well for their health.  People want to go to the extreme on everything, all or nothing, and it isn't needed.

That's what I think is the "secret". Simply moderation in all things. I mean, even alcohol has benefits in moderation and I'm even going to propose the unthinkable, even smoking in moderation. I say this because stress is one of the big killers in society. It goes unnoticed because it's hard to quantify but tell me that you've never known someone that paved his way to an early grave due to being so stressed out. All we see is that he died from a heart attack. Cigar, cigarette smoking, a shot of whiskey at the end of the day... sometimes does a body good. Even keeping it bbing related, 200mg/wk Test Cyp versus 5grams plus all the other gear to be huge. One enhances the quality of life and the other brings you closer to the grave or at the very least prematurely ages you.

My cousin is a dermatologist and avoids the sun like a Vampire. What kind of life is that? Sure we shouldn't be baking out in the sun for hours but how can anybody believe that we were suppose to avoid all sun.

For a few years after a competing for decades he came in first or second in every pro contest he entered. His pictures didn't do him justice. When he stood next to another bodybuilder he made them look soft and bloated. He really was amazing. I know the hate for him is deep for being a homosexual but I try to see the incredible bodybuilder.

He is very close to where i live. It's a shame with covid 19 can't have any visitors I would go and visit him. I met Chris when he was guest posing in WPB FL at a local show. Talked to him for a while just a really nice guy. Think he was hitting on me . :) :D

You’re right about the hitting. My Dad was showing his charm and pinching female ass right on into his eighties and I guarantee you there are some rehabilitation center staff (only not female) who are running for their lives during their shifts. Sorry, not “woke” here.

Yes, stress is probably the biggest killer in our society.  Most people's genetic "junk" probably wouldn't even be triggered without stress.

does anyone know if his two brothers are still alive ?  chris was the last born of the triplets.

One of them drowned when they were little, according to a MuscleMag International article I read years ago.
