I didn’t see a test that was conducted where the drink was consumed slowly
I have had a nuclear scanning test myself. It showed that food food exited my gut very slowly- slower than normal
Remember absorption and utilization are 2 different things
Ur body is either goin to absorb it or expel it thru vomiting or diarrhea
Utilization is key
I haven’t seen a test or study where they measure utilization
I would think that would be impossible to see what actually gets used for muscle building, repair, ect
Back in the 1970’s there was the saturation theory which meant keeping ur body stuffed with food. The thinking was if ur body needed it the nutrients they were there
Let’s say u haven’t eaten for 3 days. I’m bbq’ing tri tip. Uve had hunger pains like crazy. Ur famished, salivating at the smell
All u can think about is eating. Ur stomach is growling non stop
Ur body has done everything to prep for this meal
Now take a sum1 who eats every 2-3 hrs. They’re not even hungry. The last thing on their mind is food
They slam a whey hydrolysate shake
Kinda makes sense
I wouldn’t get caught up too much on this. Everyone’s body is different. If ur on juice protein synthesis is increased. Either way ur body is gonna use what it’s gonna use
calling out total bullshit unless you post actual studies stating only 30g gets absorbed... general knowledge is that your body and gut absorb everything. If the body didn't then theorically you could slam tons of fast digesting sweets and desserts after your meal, because your body won't absorb them because it already had enough calories from your meal, right? Guess what if you do that, you'll get fatso with tittonas
