Their goal is throw or "put" a 16 lb ball for maximum distance.
This is about performance NOT health.

both those guys have good healthy solid fat and are quite athletic for their size. but they are no brian oldfield.

Kovacs is a world champion shot putter and 2 x silver Olympic medalist. He needs the size to offset his not being 6 7 like Crouser.

Crouser is a world record holder. Go look at his training vids. He could play in the NFL if he wanted.
