I get what you are saying, but I think that if the shit actually hit the fan, some of the millennials would actually perform well, as they would have no choice if they want to survive. I would institute a brutal training regimen that not everyone would survive. The dead could at least be useful as bad examples, and those who survive could be made useful in advancing our interests.

I'm so afraid of a military draft with today's millennials. They are soft, weak and don't have a clue what it means to be a man. I couldn't imagine them fighting Chinese guys that worked 14 hours days in factories six days a week. Ever see our military ads trying to solicit volunteers compared to Russia's commercials for their military? Don't get me wrong. Our volunteers are top shelf. I'm talking about if we have a draft today. I'll take a 60's hippie over a millennial any day of the week in a draft.
