Recently, my wife ordered some Thai food by phone.  When I went to pick it up, the bag was stapled shut but felt a little light to me. I thought about ripping it open and checking inside, but went against my gut and just brought it home. Sure enough half our grub wasn't there.  So I returned and they handed me a 2nd stapled bag (that they forgot to give me.)  They apologized profusely and threw in complimentary spring rolls and a mango salad.

Bhank this is a serious slight and overall black mark on your man card - go directly to this drive through speaker tomorrow and read this word for word:

"I don't take kindly to disrespect. Not on the internet, not in person, not in a grocery store parking lot, not in line at Walmart, not in a restaurant, not at the beach, not at the dry cleaners...anywhere.

People talk about the 'pussyfication' of America, yet they run their mouths thinking they won't get slapped and get their arm broken in front of their friends.

Spent many years in a place where if you talk slick and say something out of line to somebody, you know that when you say it, you better be ready for what happens. most people here in the 'real world' aren't ready for what could happen...and run their mouths like the world is a make-believe cartoon. Despite wearing nice slacks, polished shoes and a nice shirt, the guy you steal that parking spot from at the grocery store and proceed to flip off, may have just gotten out of prison and will have no problem identifying the bitch in you and proceed to teach you a lesson by taking you down to the ground and kicking out your teeth before you even know what happened.

The guy who's willing to go the furthest, wins. If you're not willing to go all the way, it's best you keep your mouth shut and move on, and make it to the next day."

They will be throwing free food out the window at you.

Taco Bell doesn't "tape" their bags shut. Or any fast food place for that matter. Made up a more lame story why don't you

They have been during covid.

I'd watch a zoom debate between ESF and Big Hank.

Drive up to the take-out and unload a flamethrower into the open window.

That’ll teach ‘em.

Take your anger out on your GF.

Beat her senseless than take her limp battered  Body to the drive thru and say you guys are next if you don’t fix my order.

Bhanks, you get the new job? You can afford Taco Bell!!

Congrats!

I ordered 4 tacos and a burrito and 3 steak chalupas it takes them like 20 minutes to take order and they say sorry we are training someone so I am like fine whatever. I get to the window and they hand me a small bag already taped closed and I am like is this everything and they said yes. Well sure enough I get home and not 1 or 2 but all 3 steak chalupas are missing. That is also the most expensive part of the meal. Do I go back and demand my chalupas or is it not worth going back out?

Depends

Did you eat the 4 tacos and burrito already? If you did it’s probably not worth going back as chances are you are shitting your brains out

Still not denied even though there are replies after this.

Always, always, always check your order or accept your fate.  There is no recourse once you are home even if its only a couple of blocks away, it isn't worth the hassle.

It's really your fault for not checking.  It isn't Curious George's fault, it's the fault of the Man in the Yellow Hat that left him in the damn house/zoo/restaurant alone.

Usually El Pollo Loco is all Mexican staff and generally does a great job with orders, but every now and then hires a black guy and I got the bad luck of getting him to take my order, so I got my usual three piece meal white meat. This is a 3 piece combo with 2 side orders, but usually you get one breast and some combination of leg, thigh or wing. For an extra dollar or so you get an extra breast instead of a leg or thigh, hence "three piece meal, white meat". I've ordered it a thousand times. Guy gives me the meal, I check it and its not even one breast let alone two, but two wings and a thigh. When I ask him politely to get the order correct, he argued, "They consider wings and thighs white meat at this El Pollo Loco" Which he pronounced POLO like a polo shirt. Had to get a manager to correct it.
