What I know is that when I go to the store to buy groceries one bag with not much in it runs almost $50. Went out to breakfast today and all the prices on the entrées had gone up $3.00. A breakfast that two years about was $12 was now $18. Coffee was up $.50 to $3.00 a cup. Still less than Starbucks. This is not some fancy restaurant, but it also isn't McDonald's.

I get about 3% CPI each year on my retirement income. When inflation is 6% I lose money. I'm still okay financially and I'm old. Who knows how long I'll be around. But it seems as if I live long enough, I'll eventually be poor.
Food, gas, building materials and utilities are skyrocketing in cost.

Sohrab Lutchmedial: 52-year-old Canadian cardiologist tells the non-vaxxed “I won’t cry at your funeral,”  after spending much of 2021 belittling the non-vaxxed.  dead two weeks after third (booster) mRNA injection.  This vaccine has killed more people than any other vaccine in history.

Confirm?

Looks like he died but can't find any info on major media outlets.

He died doing what he loved, shamelessly shilling for the medical establishment.

I told family months ago to prepare for $2.50/L fuel at Christmas (it was $1.60). It’s now at $2.60/L.

Next year we will see $3-$4/L fuel….. and people think they will be driving to a workplace lol

Aussie pesos not in USD (sorry).

98 fuel in Sydney. A mate took a photo of the bowser with the price filling up his Lambo.

If I look now I can see 1.83/L for out of the way spots but $1.93/L up to $2.04/L for main road locations.

We were paying $1.35/L for 98 last year all day every day so it’s 35%-43% increase in cost.

AUD$2.50/L for Christmas for 98 is easily on the cards but $3-$4 next year is going to cause a lot of pain. If oil hit $147 13yrs ago it is going to blow well past that when it really lets rip. The hedge funds made it clear to the Fed some months ago they will go all in on commodities if they don’t raise rates.

Just checked the GasBuddy app and gas around here is anywhere from $3.79 to $3.99 a gallon or $1.05 a liter.

This rise in inflation appears to be driven by the whole supply chain fiasco which is a global phenomenon.  Not isolated to the US and/or Canada.  Once the rest of the world learns to open up and live with covid like us here in the U.S, things will come back in line.

Costs for rising wages are passed on to the consumer.

Inflation is an increase in the supply of money chasing the same goods. This is all an experiment, we were well overdue to hit a demand side wall before covid.

Yes, and covid exasperated the situation.  It will self correct within the next 6-12 months.

Climate change and carbon reduction policy is driving up prices as currently renewables and new technology isn't up to speed and the only way to reduce emissions is to reduce industrial capacity, this is happening as we speak being driven by Bidens green new world, people just haven't realised it yet. The only effective way to get the reductions they want by 2030 is to simply make less of everything, and use less of everything( coal, oil gas). The current Inflation is going nowhere and it was always going to happen as soon as Biden was elected, the real idiots are those whining about price of fuelling up who voted for him.
