PJ took the deal after he learned Singerman did. Singerman's has a rat clause in it that allows him to receive a more lenient sentence based on how much he is willing to help the feds. Braun's is a standard guilty plea, etc.....

Aaron hasn't ran the company in over a year, his business partners have been.  You cant run a company from prison if he goes there so he prepared in advance
