Xeno-estrogens. They are everywhere. But the biggest source of them are from agriculture. You see, the original pesticides that killed the bugs were phased out in the 70's and 80's because of, you guessed it, environmental concerns. These concerns were real. What replaced them was what was considered the more environmentally benign replacements that did not kill the bugs. They simply stopped them from reproducing. All modern pesticides are hormone mimickers (xeno-estrogens). The timing makes sense. Young guys in the 70's and early 80's were wild, aggressive, and liked to fight. Starting in the mid-80's, teen guys became softer. The "pretty boy" look was in. Its only continued since then.

They are also found in plastics and a lot of other manufactured products. That "airplane" smell you notice when you board your flight? Xeno-estrogens. The "new car" smell when you pick up your rental after you land? All xeno-estrogens.

I am convinced that the increase in the transgender thing is primarily driven by xeno-estrogens. Consider that both testosterone levels and sperm counts have steadily declined year over year since the 1970's for any given age group of guys. This alone suggests the cause has to be bio-chemical.
