Pro bodybuilding is.
All the eating, all the drugs, the side effects from the drugs, (This is probably one of those posts I should've deleted). I've been scouring the internet and social media and just some of the doses and the length of time. No need to tell you all, it's no wonder why die so young. Then add in the clot shot as another variable for even more death or permanent maiming.
I say all this, yet I'm still here. Partially out of habit and passion for the "sport" in general. I'm happy Classic physique is here. Bumstead is the perfect personality at the right time to be the head of that division. In general, I see more promise in the Classic division vs open in the next 10 years. They need to start paying these guys.
Anyway, the IFBB sold out the essence of bodybuilding when it elected to have Dorian win the 94 Olympia. Things took a turn for the worse when Dorian won that show. Bodybuilding was never the same.
That extra size from the 80s to 90s means more drugs and more food. If they judged the way they did in the 80s, could have saved lives. Truth be told there's many onstage or that have been onstage that shouldn't have been. But the league promoted the drug monsters and told us this is what we want, size.
Pro bodybuilding is for the genetic elite. Things like 2003 Coleman shouldn't have been promoted. The art is gone, replaced by a freak show.
