Anything on an angle like that is less than half the weight. It takes more strenth to do weighted hiking

To be exact, a 45 degree leg press provides a mechanical advantage such that the weight lifted is actually only 70% of the load.


So a 45 degree 2000 pound leg press is actually 1400, which still is a big number :)
