Overall, Shaw's immense total food intake of 12,019 calories leaves him feeling "perfect" - after feeling "fairly hungry" throughout the day. In addition to six times the average caloric intake suggested for an average male, Shaw also consumed 705g of protein, 1,402g of carbs and 399g of fat.23 okt. 2018

I've watched a lot of his YT videos.

He drinks a lot of shakes and eats an insane amount of food.

But only when prepping for a contest, most of the year he doesn't eat like that and downsizes quite a bit.

Probably why he's still in the game.

Big Z does the same thing, eats hard for a few months before a contest, but backs off a lot afterwards and drops weight.

Also, the Stoltman brothers, they all seem to "peak" their eating and training together. For maximum size and strength. It's pretty cool.

If nothing else it must be pretty hard to consume so many calories.Backing off most of the year makes sense and is smart.

I would love to see how they use insulin. If they use a lot of gh, which I believe they do especially precontest while eating 12K, insulin is certainly in the mix. Otherwise they are certainly diabetic essentially and high BG kills. What I'm wondering about is how high they dose. High insulin use brings its own set of problems especially over time.
