You know WHY white people left the city of Detroit?
It was due to race riots. It caused 'white flight.' The reason behind the race riots, ostensibly social justice, was pure liberal ideology.
Black people being arrested, dying in custody, being shot by police happens ALL the fucking time. It only becomes national news when its politically convenient for the Left.
In 1967 the Detroit police shut down a 'blind pig' also known as an after hours bar- in Michigan liquor sales stop at 2 am and bars close at 2am. It's always been that way and remains that way now. This blind pig was in a 'black part of town' (if you know what I mean) Well typical of inner city-impoverished blacks there was a total inability to follow the law. What should have been a simple process turned disorderly the patrons of the blind pig resisted arrest. Fueles by alcohol and whatever other drugs they were taking the patrons turned violent. And ot spread like wikdfire. For days and weeks on end. Overnight Detroit went from a world class city to a shithole.
The Detroit riots of the 60's made Portland of 2020 look like Disneyland. Rioters had snipers on roof tops shooting at police. Police were shooting back at a rate that became difficult to document. Police and civillians died. If you were a white business owner, your options were to arm yourself and defend your business or watch it burn to the ground. Rioters attacked white people openly and shot at police, many of whom would later be exonerated!
Much like 2020 news articles and liberal politicians condoned it by not condeming it. And even though there were black police and white protesters, in the end the story was portrayed as a racist system depriving blacks of their civil rights. That was 55 years ago and Detroit has only just now begun to recover.
