Walk your way into finest shape…..

Walking seems like the latest trend.  I know we have many walkers on the board. I also know that walking has caused someone like Big Rob to drastically change his physique. Now I’m hearing testimonials about people walking their way into contest shape with leisurely strolls along the beach.

has anyone here been successful with this process?

Walking is great, but doing it to get into shape is too time consuming for me.

Where are you walking friend, paved areas or grassy meadows?

Hiking a little moutain like 3000ft 2 times per week when the snow is gone is a great cardio.

I had never done any cardio before but getting older now at 35 I feel it makes a good difference even if I don't eat that well.

Just around the neighborhood.  I average 2 miles a day just in the course of walking the dog and walking to the gym.  I think it’s beneficial but mostly for the mental aspect of getting outside and clearing my head.

No doubt walking on more difficult terrain would be a better workout but I hate driving in general and the idea of driving somewhere to go for a walk is against my core principles  ;D
