Also, in my opinion, I think Mexicans could care less about crossing the border because they feel that Texas, New Mexico and part of California were stolen from the Republic of Mexico. If I was in charge, I would offer them citizenship but require them to reside in one of the uninhabited areas for 10 years for development purposes and not allow them to leave or travel outside the designated area. It would require a lot of work from them as the lands would be unforgiving like up in Northern Maine for example but I think it would be profitable for this country
