why don't these guys slim down in retirement?

After decades of being a certain weight, it becomes more dificult to slim down, even muscle mass.

No they’re just used to eating the calories it takes to support that weight.  A strict diet of 2000 calories plus daily cardio would get Chick to a healthy weight like it would for any man

A very low carb diet would slim Chic up and he would be able to stuff himself with meat and eggs to feel full.

No doubt. No age is too old to gain or lose weight. Discipline!

What was the poundage Prince claimed he would never drop below after the post-advil retirement? It was something very unrealistic like 220 pounds

Lol, I remember that pic of him in the long sleeve shirt with the short sleeve shirt over it and him and Chick trying to say he was 200 plus in it. Man, that fool looked no heavier than 160 and that would be if he was 6’ tall.

The older I get the more I think about what's healthy regarding training and weight.  Being a permabulker looking into a mirror thinking you're big is just delusion. How many fat guys mock in shape thin guys? Happens all the time. I look now at sprinters, MMA guys; and boxers for their weight at my height.  They are all under 170lbs for the most part.

Yep.  When you get older though you need to hang on to as much muscle tissue as possible.

Sarcopenia is on its way.

When you lose bodyweight you always lose muscle tissue unfortunately.  Quite a bit.
