They devalue the currency and print more money to make up for the shortfall.
Is gambling not legal in every state?In Canada, our current government is just borrowing and spending like crazy on anything and everything. Including billions sent to other countries.I'd like to think that gambling revenues would go towards infrastructure maintenance/development, but I doubt it is. I'm sure some portion is, but I would suspect a lot is just lining the pockets of corrupt and incompetent members of government.
