In fairness if you were a 40 year old at a syknard concert you were considered a creep. Now anyone can see a concert and not worry about being old.

Concerts were better years ago.

Much, much cheaper. 

It was about the music not elaborate dancing, with autotune.

No helicopter parenting, no super-organized youth sports.

Kids had freedom.  There were other kids available to play with, not playdates.

No childcare because your mother had to work.

Kids weren't all on psycho drugs or had allergies to everything.

Autism was unheard of.

I mean we had Hendrix,Page,Rhodes,Satriani,Clapton,Santana,Johnny Winter,Beck,Eddie Van Halen,etc. etc......Christ I`ll even throw Roy Clark in there......not into Metal really so don`t know too many of the guys who play.

True,I have seen some of these child prodigys,(sp)....mostly playing blues guitar,and damn good I might add, but are there any actual hard rock bands anymore?

Fantastic player.

That said it seems like songwriting and technical playing are two completely separate skills. Rare to see someone with both.
