According to friends of mine - the interweb is full of straight porn posted by men to be 'consumed' by other men.

Does anyone find this a bit creepy? What do the guys posting this stuff get out of it? Do they get a kick out of the thought that other men jack off to this stuff?  Is it what gets them off?

Or is it some sort of charitable behavior - you know, like there's karmic muff merits you can earn for a better place in the afterlife?

I just don't get the thought process of seeing and 'consuming' a bit of good pron and THEN taking the effort to post it online for others to see. It's more effort than say - a post-coital hug/small talk - which is considerable in the face of a wall of sleep hitting you.
